The DSA operating room of the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University is located in Laoshan hospital area. With the second phase of Laoshan hospital area put into use, the original DSA operating room can no longer meet the development needs of Laoshan hospital area. Therefore, four DSA operating rooms are newly built, two of which are reserved.
Plane layout
The new DSA operating room has a building area of about 1000 square meters, a compact design, and a smooth streamline, which has been recognized by the Department. Among them, 4 operating rooms are designed, with a floor height of 4.5m, a completion height of 2.9m, and a purification level of III. according to the operating room process design, the clean-up and sewage separation is carried out.

The area is divided into four functional areas, namely, clean area, clean area, work and living area, waiting area. According to the characteristics of the land, 4 operating rooms are arranged on both sides of the clean area, with 2 operating rooms on each side. The distance between the four operating rooms is short and the working route is convenient.
The ground structure of the operating room room sinks 30 cm to reserve space for the installation of equipment pipelines. A waiting observation room of about 40 square meters was designed on the opposite side of the nurse station, which greatly improved the treatment environment of patients. On the right side of the clean area is the working and living area, which is equipped with special elevator for employees. On the left side are waiting area for family members, conversation room and patient passage. A 20 square meter waste temporary storage room is designed in the cleaning area to meet the requirements of the hospital.
radiation protection
The new DSA operating room is a radiation diagnosis and treatment project with general radiation hazards. It is equipped with a single tube head X-ray machine room. The effective single side minimum length and area of the machine room are 7 meters and 51.8 square meters respectively, which meet the requirements of 3.5 meters and 20 square meters of national standards (see article 5.2 of medical X-ray diagnostic radiation protection requirements (gbz130-2013).
The wall and ceiling of operating room, equipment room and control room are made of light steel keel + gypsum board + electrolytic steel plate + lead plate, with a thickness of 1.2mm; other clean areas are made of light steel keel + calcium silicate board + Cali board. The walls of dirt corridors and office areas shall be painted with anti bacteria coating, and the ceiling shall be made of light steel keel + calcium silicate board + Cali board. The floor adopts rubber floor and PVC floor. The operation room adopts fillet connection between the floor roll and the wall, and sealant is used to treat the joint between the wall and the ceiling.
The wall and ceiling of the operating room are protected by 3 lead equivalent lead plates. The wall is protected to the ceiling height, and the wall reaches 3.8 lead equivalent, meeting the basic protection requirements of 2 lead equivalent. 50 mm thick barium sulfate cement shall be used on the ground leveling layer to meet the protection requirements of 3 lead equivalent. All medical electric doors can meet three lead equivalent protection requirements. The cable in DSA machine room is laid underground, protected by iron bridge frame. The cable goes through the wall directly, and the threading port is sealed with barium sand to avoid the main beam direction. Standard warning signs of ionizing radiation shall be set outside the protective door, precautions for radiation protection shall be posted, and work indicator light shall be installed. Lead glass observation window shall be set between the machine room and the control room, and lead glass shall meet three lead equivalent protection requirements.
On June 5, 2018, the new DSA operating room project passed the expert review and acceptance of radiation protection facilities.
Gas supply
There are 5 kinds of gases involved in the project, including oxygen, carbon dioxide, compressed air, suction and anesthetic waste gas. The anesthetic waste gas is jet type, the pipeline is UPVC pipe, and other gases are degreased copper pipe. The waiting observation room is equipped with three gases: oxygen, suction and compressed air.
purification system
The purification system adopts all air purification air conditioning system, two pipe air conditioning unit and fan coil plus fresh air system, two operating rooms use a medical air purification unit, with upper supply side and lower return air, and laminar flow setting, which maintains good ventilation effect in the machine room and meets the protection requirements. The clean corridor and office area adopt fan coil plus fresh air system.
In order to reduce the impact of noise and vibration on the operating room downstairs and surrounding rooms, the purification air conditioner in this case is located in the air conditioning room upstairs, and the measures of noise and vibration isolation are taken. Specifically, the air supply and return of the operating room, the clean aisle and the auxiliary room air conditioning system are equipped with microporous plate silencers; the air conditioning unit is equipped with damping pads, and the exhaust fan is equipped with damping hangers; the inlet and outlet of the purification ventilation equipment are installed The flexible short pipe with length of 150 mm shall be made of non dust producing materials; all air pipes connected with combined purification unit and exhaust fan shall be provided with flexible joints; the air duct can be provided with anti-seismic supports and hangers according to the size.
