How to test the air leakage of the clean room?
For the air leakage of clean room, we aim at quantitative test to determine whether it meets the use, specification and design requirements.
For smoke tracing, we conduct qualitative tests to find the leakage point and help customers find solutions.
Air leakage test is usually used in energy-saving, clean areas and central air conditioning unit equipment air leakage test. We are making different plans for different projects according to their characteristics. For example, we use air leakage tester for closed containers, large motors and air ducts. We will use imported portable fans and on-site AHU to carry out leakage test for leakage of ground air supply, FM200 performance of machine room, room and curtain wall.

Test scheme and characteristics of air leakage in clean room:
We use the air duct leakage tester, which is a special equipment for air leakage. It is suitable for testing the tightness and quality of air duct, air conditioner, fire damper, regulating valve, etc. in the ventilation and air conditioning system of hotels, restaurants and public works.
Its testing principle adopts the application venturi tube, which has passed the type identification and sample test conducted by China Academy of metrology, obtained the type approval certificate issued by Beijing Municipal Bureau of technology supervision, and passed the product identification organized by the Ministry of construction.

6.2.8 after the installation of the air duct system, the tightness shall be inspected according to the system category, and the air leakage shall meet the requirements of the design and article 4.2.5 of this specification. The tightness inspection of air duct system shall meet the following requirements:
1. Sampling inspection shall be adopted for the tightness inspection of low-pressure system air duct, with the sampling rate of 5% and no less than 1 system. On the premise that the processing technology is guaranteed, the light leakage method is used for detection. If the test is unqualified, air leakage test shall be conducted according to the specified sampling rate.
For the tightness inspection of the medium pressure system air duct, the air leakage test of the system shall be carried out after passing the light leakage test, with the sampling rate of 20% and no less than one system.
The tightness inspection of air duct of high-pressure system is to conduct air leakage test for the whole number.
The sampled system for the air duct tightness test of the system shall be deemed to pass if it is all qualified; if it is unqualified, the sampling test shall be doubled until it is all qualified.
2. For the air duct tightness test of purification air conditioning system, the air duct of level 1-5 system shall be in accordance with the provisions of high-pressure system; the air duct of level 6-9 system shall be in accordance with the provisions of article 4.2.5 of this specification.
Inspection quantity: as specified in the article. Inspection method: carry out tightness test according to Appendix A of this specification.
4. 2.5 the air duct must pass the technical inspection or verification, and its strength and tightness requirements shall meet the design or the following requirements:
1. The strength of air duct shall meet the requirement that there is no crack at the joint under 1.5 times of working pressure;
2. The allowable air leakage of rectangular air duct shall meet the following requirements:
Low pressure system air duct QL ≤ 0.1056p ^ 0.65
Medium pressure system air duct QM ≤ 0.0352p ^ 0.65
High pressure system air duct QH ≤ 0.0117p ^ 0.65
In the formula, QL, QM, QH - allowable air leakage per unit area of air duct per unit time under corresponding working pressure [M? / (H? ┫);
P?????? refers to the working pressure of the air duct system (PA).
3. The allowable air leakage of low and medium pressure circular metal air ducts, composite air ducts and non-metal air ducts in non flange form shall be 50% of the specified value of rectangular air ducts;
4. The allowable air leakage of brick and concrete air duct shall not be greater than 1.5 times of the specified value of rectangular low-pressure system air duct;
5. The smoke exhaust, dust removal and low-temperature air supply system shall be in accordance with the provisions of the medium pressure system air duct, and the level 1-5 purification air conditioning system shall be in accordance with the provisions of the high-pressure system air duct.
