site selection

(2) The area of the supply room should be proportional to the number of beds.
(3) the location of the supply room should be adjacent to the operating room. If it is on the same floor, it needs to have an internal clean channel; if it is on the upper and lower floors, it needs to have an internal clean elevator, or whether it is on the same floor or the upper and lower floors, it needs to use the logistics transmission system directly.
Design

The layout process, related water, electricity, steam and fire protection design shall be carried out in advance in the preliminary design stage of the building. Fully communicate the necessary conditions with the Design Institute, avoid repeated design and construction, and reduce the investment cost. The process management of the supply room is divided into decontamination area, inspection, packaging and sterilization area, storage area of sterilized articles, etc. Each area is clearly divided, and there is a practical barrier between the areas, so that people can be separated, and the route is from pollution to cleanness without crossing and retrograde.

Attention to details of equipment used
(1) the basic equipment shall be complete, and the model and type of main equipment shall be determined, including pulse sterilizer, full-automatic cleaning and disinfection machine, ultrasonic cleaning machine, drying box, magnifying glass with light source, sealing machine, purified water machine, acidification water machine, receiving and delivering vehicle, air gun and water gun, etc. Considering the large area of the supply room, there will be shear walls in the area. During the design, the reserved holes for the pipelines and circuits of the equipment used shall be considered, and the shear walls shall not be damaged during the construction as much as possible.
(2) if the steam is not provided in the hospital, the evaporator shall be equipped in the reserved position of the supply room.
(3) there are many pipelines on the ceiling, and due to the high requirements for energy conservation and heat preservation of the building, strong exhaust shall be considered for the rooms around the steam sterilizer and steam generator. If not considered in advance, the space temperature in summer is too high for the staff to work here, and it is difficult to increase strong exhaust after the space in the ceiling is too small.
(4) In the design of supply room upstairs, the addition and replacement of large-scale equipment such as steam sterilizer should be considered, and the entry and exit passages of equipment should be well reserved, as well as the import and export for easy disassembly.
(5) positive pressure air is required for steam sterilizer, steam cleaner, air gun and ethylene oxide sterilizer. Considering the central air supply room, ventilation is required in the room, 380V power supply is reserved, and a standby oil-free air compressor and gas storage tank can be placed. Stainless steel or copper pipeline is arranged in advance to avoid dragging a compressor for each equipment.
(6) for the load of power supply, the power consumption of high-power equipment such as electric steam generator, sterilizer, washer and water heater shall be considered. Therefore, the power line shall be reserved separately.
(7) the pressure requirements of steam sterilizer and steam cleaner are not necessarily the same. The pipeline direction shall be fully considered and two sets of pressure reducing systems shall be equipped. Moreover, the size of steam pipe diameter shall be selected according to the quantity and power of high-pressure sterilizer and steam cleaner. If necessary, the Engineer of the manufacturer shall design.
(8) to ensure sufficient water source, separate water supply pipeline shall be set, especially the high-pressure sterilizer water supply pipeline, which is better to be designed separately. In order to ensure that the flow pipe diameter is suitable, the water supply pressure shall be 0.15-0.3mpa.
For space arrangement and other details
(1) according to the specification, the air flow direction is from clean to dirty; the space is well sealed, including doors and windows, to meet the pressure difference of three areas, the decontamination area to maintain the relative negative pressure, and the packaging and sterilization area to maintain the relative positive pressure; the independent air conditioning system to meet the temperature, humidity, mechanical ventilation, air change times of the working area; the space to meet the illumination requirements.
(2) the drain pipe of autoclave and steam sterilizer in the supply room upstairs must be resistant to high temperature, and the outside of the drain pipe shall be insulated to avoid impact on other floors.
(3) the exhaust gas pipe of ethylene oxide shall be extended to the outdoor, and the room without ventilation shall be equipped with strong exhaust equipment.
(4) if the supply room is not on the first floor, the bearing capacity of the floor where large equipment is placed shall be considered.
(5) a larger transfer window is set beside the closed transfer window to facilitate the transfer of large surgical bags, and wired or wireless doorbells are added outside the transfer window.
(6) anti collision strips shall be added to the walls and doors of rooms with mobile vehicles such as receiving hall and issuing hall.
(7) general wiring: including internal communication system, computer information management system, music broadcasting system, visual access control system, etc.
(8) fire protection system: including the unified coordination and management of the whole hospital for sprinkler and fire alarm, which should be carried out by qualified professional team synchronized with the whole building; the installation of other fire doors including evacuation indicator lights and fire doors should be in the charge of the purification company, the door access system requires the door to be opened inward, and the fire channel requires the door to be opened outward, which needs to be coordinated well.
